It was a cold, snowy evening when Chuuya hurried on his way back to the stable only to find himself crossed paths with a way too familiar Malzeno. “Eww,” came the immediate response from the latter, complete with his tongue rolled out in disgust. “That’s my line, you shitty Dazai!!!” Chuuya hissed back, releasing a short burst of reddish draconic energy that danced along its serpentine body before they gradually dispersed among the falling snows. “Whoa whoa, chill, chibi~,” the Malzeno replied with an almost mocking sing-song-like tune, waving the claws on his right forearm as if he was shooing the other elder dragon away. “If you keep discharging your dragon energy thing like that, you'll get even smaller you know~?” “HAH!??? After the failed attempt to climb the Silver Mountains back in late autumn, Chuuya kept a close watch on Akutagawa. The Setritaph always made sure the Nargacuga was well fed, groomed, and warm throughout the majority of this winter, and although Akutagawa tried to break free and away from the elder dragon at first, he eventually gave up and despite the slight annoyance, the flying wyvern surrendered himself to Chuuya's overprotectiveness instinct… to Atsushi's absolute dismay. The Barioth had hoped to spend some time with Akutagawa, but every time he peeked into the stable, the situation at sight has mostly been the Setritaph quite literally sat on the Nargacuga like a mother hen keeping her chick warm, Atsushi barely - if ever - found any chance to even greet Akutagawa, not wanting to trigger the elder dragon's wrath upon himself.
