HW__OC: Raven Raphaello the butler

semi realism sketch as 1 of my college's HW that i've finish around last week

during that class, the teacher display a few taxidermy(?) bird species & let us to choose our preference/fav birds, then draw it semi realism & semi gijinka-ish (hence the human-like fingers on the arms-like wings); & giving it a western style outfit while still keeping the chosen bird in their actual anatomy




<sub>& actually, the time given for this project is 3x worth of class (around 12h in total), but since i was heavily ill during the 1st week & cant attend the class, i start the project with only 2x class handicap (i got only around 8h or so to finish it) ^__^;;
despite its partly rushed, during the presentation day yesterday, the teacher have his students to display the sketch up on the white board; & since i believed mine will never reach the top row, i put mine on the lowest row..... (usually, after we lined up our work, the teacher himself will later ranked them, & only the top 5 will get the top most row, 6-10th best will on the 2nd row & the rest will be on the 3rd row); since it will be a real shame IMO if i put it on the higher row only to be remove to the lowest row but as i watch the teacher re-arranging the position of the students' work; unexpectedly he removed mine from the 3rd row, & put it up on the top most row, 3rd from the left; & i was, like, "omg!? i make it into the top 3?!! like, srsly?!" @A@;;

later the teacher also asked me what name i will give for him (the teacher asked the top 5 work of this project to give a name for this semi-realism chara); but since i havent think up a name for him, i was like "eh!? ra- ra.... Raphaello....?" ([ra-] of the raven lulz); thus he was officially named as Raphaello out of randomness XD;;;;
so yah~ anyway, i was really happy that mine's still chosen into the top 5 despite of the rush >w<</sub>




oh, the actual sketch show the raven in its full body shot, but since the paper was quite big & too hard to be scanned, i take a photo of it (during that class), but since the lower part was blur, i crop it out..... & the short fur detail esp on the head cant be properly seen too..... but oh well~ (stupid cellphone camera)
